Appeal For Partnership And Sponsorship

We must confess that inspite of organising massive and effective programmes for quite a long time, enough efforts were not made to sustain the programmes since at the peak of the programmes the full concentration was on the successful implementation. There has been high level expectation from all to revive the old programmes with new ones in favour of the poorest sections struggling to survive in the villages and slums. But, the financial strains prevented the excellent programmes to keep up the same intensity. In fact, there were some offers to get official grants if we were prepared to give back about 25% of the amounts through the backdoor, which in principle could not be entertained. Now that new plans with all the details including the sustainability aspects are drawn out for the emancipation and empowerment of the most-needy Dalits, Tribals, OBCs, and the other weaker and handicapped sections at the lowest strata of the society in the rural and slum settings, especially women, children and old aged among them we are in need of partnerships and solidarity for their realisation. Detailed project profile and budget estimates will be submitted to the would-be partners and sponsors. We are also prepared re-formulate the proposed plans with the perspectives and experience of the willing partners and sponsors. One thing can be certain that the greatest asset of SODARA is the total commitment, sincerity and accountability and they shall be continued with renewed vigor in the implementation of the project.
